A Hammers insider claims West Ham have made a big decision over a £12m transfer deal which could become clear soon.

West Ham boss David Moyes has reiterated his desire to do business this month and insists he has the backing of the board to do just that.

The Hammers have been linked with a host of strikers and defenders.

But in the last week or so several central midfielders have started to appear on the reported radar too.

And it seems there may be a reason for that after a new report from insiders Claret and Hugh.

The West Ham insiders have direct links to the Hammers board.

Now they claim that the club have made a big decision over the £12m deal to sign midfielder Alex Kral on a permanent transfer.

The Czech central midfielder joined his compatriots Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal at West Ham in the summer on a season-long loan from Spartak Moscow with the option to buy for a reported £12m fee.

Kral has made just two starts in all competitions for West Ham this season and one Premier League appearance.

Now Claret and Hugh claim West Ham have made up their minds not to sign Kral permanently and could even terminate his loan deal this month.

Insider claims West Ham have made a big decision over £12m transfer deal which could become clear soon

“West Ham look likely to allow Alex Kral back to Spartak Moscow after the midfielder has been found himself unable to make any impact at the London Stadium so far this season,” Claret and Hugh claim.

“The Hammers organised a loan with a permanent deal option at around £12 million but given his shortage of any real action one wonders why the boss agreed to such a move in the first place.

“Now it looks likely that he could even be back in Russia before the current season comes to an end.”

It was always going to be tough for Kral to get game time when Moyes has Soucek and Rice in midfield – just ask Mark Noble.

But many West Ham fans feel he could do a job from the rare moments they have seen him in action.

If Kral does depart this month perhaps it indicates Moyes wants to make room in the squad for a new arrival.

With just over two weeks of the window remaining we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
