ExWHUemployee suggested last night that West Ham could still make up to three new signings before the start of the new Premier League season.
Manuel Pellegrini has already made two very exciting signings in the shape of Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals.
The Hammers have also brought in two backup goalkeepers, with experienced duo David Martin and Roberto moving to the London Stadium.
If West Ham are to challenge for a top six finish, however, Pellegrini surely has to strengthen even further still before the transfer window slams shut next week.
Another striker to provide competition for Haller and Javier Hernandez wouldn’t go a miss. Nor would another established centre-back, or even a central midfielder.
Whether the Hammers board will be prepared to back Pellegrini even further still before the transfer window closes, however, remains to be seen.
ExWHUemployee has made a bold claim though, suggesting that the Chilean could still make up to three new signings:
West Ham fans are expecting their team to make a sustained push for the top seven this season.
And if Pellegrini gets at least one, or preferably two new players through the door, they will have every chance of achieving European football this term.
