ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham are keen on signing Norwich City full-back Max Aarons in January, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday December 18th).

The Hammers have real problems in the right-back department. Pablo Zabaleta is leaving in the summer and Ryan Fredericks has been bitterly disappointing this season.

And Aarons would be an exceptional addition for West Ham.

The 18-year-old Norwich ace possesses blistering pace and he is an attacking full-back in every sense.

Aarons is also a tenacious tackler and has a sound positional sense for someone so young.

The Sun claimed last year that the Canaries value the right-back at around £15 million, and in today’s day and age, that would represent excellent value for money for the Hammers.

And ExWHUemployee claimed that West Ham like the young Englishman, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday December 18th):

“They like Norwich’s right-back Aarons, they like him.”

Signing someone like Aarons would be a real statement of intent by West Ham. The Sun claims that Tottenham are also interested in the full-back.

The Norwich youngster has such great potential, and could go on to become one of the very best.

And for £15 million, Aarons would be a truly superb signing for the Hammers.
