Manuel Lanzini is a real fan favourite at the London Stadium, and he could be set to sign a new long-term deal with the club, according to a well-informed insider.

The Argentine joined the Hammers initially on a season-long loan in the summer of 2015, before making his move a permanent one the following year for around £9.4 million.

And Lanzini, 26, has proven to be an absolute steal for West Ham.

He has racked up 21 goals and 19 assists in 112 appearances in all competitions.

And the South American, who currently earns £70,000 per week according to Spotrac, really makes the Hammers tick. When he’s playing, Manuel Pellegrini’s side look like a really dangerous outfit.

And having him commit his long-term future to West Ham will be a huge boost for the Chilean.

At 26, Lanzini still has his best years ahead of him, and ExWHUemployee has today claimed that those years will be spent with the Hammers:

If the club insider’s information is correct, and Lanzini does in fact sign a new long-term deal, it really will be great news for everyone connected to West Ham.

He seems as though he is back to his best already this season. The only way is up for the Argentine.

And Hammers fans will be delighted if, or more likely when, the news is confirmed by the club.
