Darren Randolph has hit out at rumours he is injured after returning to West Ham United.
West Ham completed the signing of Randolph on Wednesday (whufc.com).
The deal has been on the cards for some time and a protracted medical had been making the headlines as the move looked off at one stage (Sky Sports).
Many West Ham fans are not happy with the move. They feel it is typical of owners David Sullivan – now back in charge of transfers – and David Gold.

Randolph’s controversial return
Supporters have questioned the wisdom and motives behind Randolph’s return.
Many fans feel it is a the cheap option for the owners.
And supporters also question the wisdom of replacing their 34-year-old injured number one Lukasz Fabianski with a 32-year-old who was deemed not good enough when he was sold three years ago. Particularly given he too is reportedly injured.

Fans question wisdom of signing
And all because the club’s other two 33-year-old goalkeepers David Martin and Roberto are not up to it.
But addressing the speculation he is injured, Randolph told whufc.com he is fully fit and raring to go.
“It feels good to back,” Randolph told the club’s official website.
“I’ve been back training. Injury-wise, I’m fine. Everything’s healed and I’m fully fit.

‘Rumours are rumours’
“Rumours are rumours and people say what they say, but I can’t help that.
“That’s part of the game, and that’s what happens. I trained and did a session on my own this morning because the other boys were off, so I’m back in training and I’m fit and ready to go.”
So there you have it West Ham fans, Randolph – according to the man himself – is fully fit.
Logic says Martin will start against Everton on Saturday.
But beyond that Randolph will take over until Fabianski returns to the fold.
