Arnie set for Hammers medical
It has been speculated in the last 24 hours by Sky Sports News HQ that Stoke City winger Marco Arnautovic is set to complete his Hammers medical today. The Austria international will become a club-record signing for a fee of around £23 million, with only the medical left to seal the move. The deal will reportedly be completed in time for the 28-year-old to join up with Slaven Bilic’s squad for the second leg of the European pre-season tour. The news comes just two-days after the loan signing of England number 1 Joe Hart and the announce of a completed deal with former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez. After weeks of frustration in the ranks of The Claret & Blue Army, things are finally starting to hot up on the West Ham United transfer front.
PL clubs queue for Adrian
It has been reported by various Media Outlets this week that several Premier League clubs including the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are lining up a move for our Spanish goalkeeper Adrian San-Miguel. The former Real Betis man had to settle for being second fiddle to Darren Randolph, who has also been linked with a move away from The London Stadium this summer, for most of last season, after holding the permanent No1 spot for several seasons. Adrian has also reportedly found the recent signing of Joe Hart off putting and publicly responded in a discontented manner to comments from Co-Owner David Sullivan about the quality of the former Manchester City man. However, many Hammers fans would be sad to see the departure of a Cult Hero, famed for moments like his F.A Cup penalty against Everton and his unwavering passion. So, will it be Adrian or his compatriot and Irish international Randolph to make way in the coming months?
Bilic looks back to Arsenal star
It has been rumoured in the last few days by Metro.com that a loan move for Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshire could still be on the cards. The former England international currently has only one year left on his contract at The Emirates and spent last season on loan at Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth. Although it seems to many football fans that he has been around for an age, Wilshire is still only 25 and remains one of the brightest young English players in the game. However, the two-time F.A Cup winner has had his career blighted by injury and off-field antics, a sort of player that Bilic doesn’t characteristically favour. In contradiction, Wilshire is a boyhood West Ham fan, who would reportedly be very open to the idea of a move to East-London. So, could Jack Wilshire be the man to tighten up our midfield?
Hammers set to miss out on Serie A target
It has been speculated by various Italian newspapers in the past few days that our target, Lazio winger Keita Balde, has agreed a deal with former European giants Inter Milan. The multiple Champions League winners are understood to have snatched the Senegal international from the jaws of several keen Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United. However, the reliability of the sources is not known and likewise, nor is the future destination of the dazzling wide-man.
