Hammers fans can't believe West Ham are trying to sell Carlos Sanchez

It seems as though Carlos Sanchez could be leaving West Ham before the transfer window closes.

Football Insider claimed yesterday that the Hammers are looking for a buyer for the £1 million-rated Colombian.

West Ham insider ExWHUemployee then backed up that report, suggesting that the club do in fact want shot of the 33-year-old:

Football.London’s West Ham correspondent Sam Inkersole then claimed that there is interest in Sanchez from Spain:

Whatever happens, the South American’s stint with the Hammers will be remembered as nothing other than an unmitigated disaster.

The former Aston Villa man joined West Ham from Fiorentina in the summer of 2018, for a fee believed to be worth £3.9 million (Viola Nation).

And he earns £50,000 per week at the London Stadium, according to Spotrac.

Sanchez has made 17 appearances for the Hammers, failing to chalk up either a goal or an assist during those outings (Transfermarkt).

Every time he has played for West Ham, he has looked slow and laboured. He constantly gets caught out in possession, and his distribution is actually shocking.

The sooner he is off the wage bill, the better for the east London outfit. Although they might just find it hard to shift him for a fee before the end of this transfer window, considering the fact that he is out of contract in the summer.

Some West Ham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news that David Moyes is keen to move the Colombian on this month…
