One West Ham United player is keen to rejoin his former club in the January transfer window.
Any chance for the Hammers to raise funds in January without losing quality must be snapped up.

West Ham have to sign at least two top quality players in the January transfer window to make us competitive – a striker with real pace and a powerful midfield ball-carrier.
Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten have failed to create a balanced squad at the London Stadium, and the Spaniard and the German could well lose their jobs as a result.

However, if they both stay, they will be desperate to atone for their errors in the summer.
In order for Lopetegui and Steidten to bring in the players they want though, they will have to shift some of the deadwood first.
And that’s why one of our players rejoining their former club will actually be very good news for us.
West Ham defender Luizao dreams of joining former club
Bolavip claim that Luizao is keen to rejoin Sao Paulo from the Hammers in the January window.
The Brazilian centre-back joined West Ham on a free transfer from Sao Paulo way back in January 2023.
However, he’s still yet to feature for the senior team.
The 22-year-old has already been strongly linked with an exit from West Ham in January.

And a move back to his previous club would obviously make sense for him.
Despite impressing for the under-21s at times over the past 18 months or so, it’s clear to see that he’s not Premier League ready.
The fact that West Ham didn’t pay a transfer fee for him means that we haven’t lost out financially.
It was probably worth a punt at the time, but the move to sign Luizao has failed to work out for West Ham.
And if there is a chance to sell him in the January window, West Ham shouldn’t think twice about letting him go.
