West Ham United have made a fantastic start to their 2020/21 campaign.
We are currently sitting in 10th spot in the Premier League table, just three points adrift of third placed Tottenham.
If we are to really kick on over the next 12 months, however, it will be vital for the Hammers board to back David Moyes in the transfer market.
We have complied a list of five dream signings who could take West Ham to the next level. This isn’t a fantasy world. The five names listed are all realistic signings for us…
Alphonse Areola

The 27-year-old is currently on loan with Fulham and with Lukasz Fabianski nearing 36, he would be the ideal signing for us.
The Frenchman has made 54 saves in 14 Premier League games – the fifth most in the league (premierleague.com). Areola is great with his feet and is a fine shot stopper.
PSG would sell the 27-year-old for around €8 million (£7 million) according to Transfermarkt. That really is superb value.
Rico Henry
Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to bring the Brentford ace to the London Stadium in the summer, according to club insiders Claret and Hugh. The Daily Mail claimed that the 23-year-old would have cost West Ham just £5 million.
Moyes must go back in for Henry in January. With Arthur Masuaku out injured, the addition of a new left wing-back will be absolutely crucial.
And for just £5 million, we really cannot hesitate to make it happen.
Duje Caleta-Car

The Marseille centre-back was courted by the Hammers throughout the summer.
L’Equipe reported a few days before transfer deadline day in the summer that West Ham had made numerous bids for the eight-capped Croatian international.
The 24-year-old will cost around £20 million (Buzz Sport). So he won’t come cheap. Caleta-Car would be worth every penny for the Hammers, however.
Alex Kral
The talented Czech Republic international is already on West Ham’s radar (The Athletic).
Kral would be an absolutely superb signing for West Ham.
The 22-year-old began his career as a defender but he has evolved into a midfielder. He is apt at playing the holding role but he can perform central midfield box-to-box duties with equal aplomb.
In 19 league outings for Spartak Moscow this season, the 22-year-old has registered three assists and has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.7 interceptions, 0.8 clearances and 0.7 dribbles per game. During those appearances, he has made 62.9 passes per match on average with a completion rate of 81.7% (Who Scored).
Kral could be available for just £12 million (The Athletic). We quite simply must make this one happen.
Abdallah Sima

West Ham’s need for a new centre-forward is clear and abvious to see for everyone.
According to popular West Ham insiders WestHamFans.org, the Hammers are now ‘actively engaged’ in bringing the Slavia Prague hitman to the London Stadium.
ExWHUemployee and Claret and Hugh have backed up those claims.
Sima, 20, has scored 14 goals in 20 games this season (Transfermarkt). He is a truly incredible young talent. It is unclear as to how much Slavia Prague will want for the striker. It will surely be hard for the Czech outfit to resist a fee of around £15-20 million, however, especially considering the fact that they sold two of their best players (Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal) for a combined fee of around £24 million.
So there you have it. Five names – all very realistic. They would cost West Ham somewhere in the region of £64 million.
An easy way to garner those funds would be to sell Felipe Anderson, Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko. They are all very good players on their day but they just haven’t cut the mustard at West Ham.
It’s time for a change at the London Stadium. And the five players listed above would be able to spearhead us toward a new era of success.
