Fabrizio Romano has delivered a very concerning update on West Ham United’s pursuit of Nikola Milenkovic, when speaking on his Here We Go podcast.

The Hammers seemed to have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of the 23-year-old centre-back last week.
It was reported that the Serbia international was all set to join West Ham if a meeting between the two clubs went smoothly (Gianluca Di Marzio).
ExWHUemployee suggested that there is a somewhat of a hold up because of agents meddling in the deal, however.

Fabrizio Romano drops Milenkovic update
The well-respected journalist was speaking on his Here We Go Podcast and suggested that there are still some differences to be ironed out between West Ham and Fiorentina regarding add-ons:
“West Ham pushing. There is still something to be fixed between the two clubs about add-ons for the value of the player. West Ham are really pushing for Milenkovic from Fiorentina.”
This really is a worry.
When taking into account our previous transfer dealing failures, it would surprise nobody if something went wrong and we failed to sign Milenkovic.
This is a deal that the Hammers owners should be getting wrapped up, even if it means offering a few million more in add-ons.
The 23-year-old is available for around £14 million according to Calciomercato. You won’t get better value than that in the market at the moment.

Romano’s update is certainly a worry because we all know how bad GSB are at conducting transfers. Just look at what happened with William Carvalho a few years ago!
Hopefully this time will be different. Fingers crossed!
