Yesterday, talkSPORT claimed that West Ham are interested in signing £30 million-rated Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.
And ExWHUemployee has verified that report by suggesting that the Hammers are indeed after the 19-year-old:
Yes he was one of the right backs that I reported interest in before although other positions are priority https://t.co/c0OeWNbpy2

Some West Ham fans don’t seem to be convinced that Norwich will actually be willing to sell Aarons, however:
I think that would be a bargain at that price, tbh.

He looks decent

Good player but I do agree it’s not a priority at the moment

Where have u heard this mate ? Cracking player !

It’s only a rumour from what I can gather (not that it means much!) but I agree, so much potential & unless we sign Kwateng for the £4m he’s priced at then it’s almost too good of a bargain to miss (Kwateng can play CM though!)

No way Norwich will allow him to go. They are in a relegation battle and don’t need the money

Pretty unlikely Norwich would sell one of their best players to another team fighting relegation. Might as well run up a white flag.

But well outside of our price bracket with ‘bigger clubs’ interested

Tottenham are also in for him as well is that true??

Cant see Notwich selling in Jan snyway & if we get a B2B midfielder & striker this winfow then we can go all out for fullbacks/wingbacks in summer.

Would be an incredible signing
Let’s not get too excited just yet.
The Daily Mail claims that Arsenal and Tottenham are very keen on signing the £30 million teenager.
Aarons is a really exciting talent. He possesses pace in abundance and is an attacking full-back in every sense.
The Norwich starlet would provide strong competition for Ryan Fredericks, and would undoubtedly help get the best out of the under performing former Fulham man.
The 19-year-old would provide West Ham with an entirely different facet to their attacking play down the right hand side. But he is also a sound defender. Aarons is a tenacious tackler, and has very good positional sense for someone so young.
And whilst £30 million sounds like a lot of money for a 19-year-old, Aarons could be worth at least double that amount in five years, and West Ham must do everything they can to bring the teenager to the London Stadium this month.
