ExWHUemloyee has moved to clarify suggestions regarding former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino being a candidate for the West Ham job, claiming that David Moyes will still be in charge at the London Stadium next season.
The Argentine told Sky Sports yesterday that he is willing to manage a club outside of the so-called top six and that he wants to remain in London.
And that led to chat amongst West Ham fans on Twitter that he could be an option to replace David Moyes.
It does seem far fetched in all honesty. But why not make a move for him? Sometimes you need to show some genuine ambition if you want to make real progress.
Nevertheless, reliable Hammers insider ExWHUemployee believes Pochettino won’t be rocking up at the London Stadium anytime soon:
Moyes hasn’t made much of an impact since taking over from Manuel Pellegrini in December 2019.
West Ham have failed to make any kind of progress in the Premier League table. And they remain in real relegation trouble.
Many Hammers fans are not convinced by Moyes in the slightest.
Claret and Hugh claimed a couple of days ago that the Scot WILL remain in charge in east London regardless of whether West Ham stay up or not, however.
And ExWHUemployee has now confirmed those claims on Twitter.
So it seems as though any dreams West Ham fans had of having the former Tottenham boss at the London Stadium have already been dashed.
