Hammers boss David Moyes needs to sign at least one established centre-forward this summer.

Michail Antonio is currently West Ham’s only recognised senior centre-forward.

And that particular problem urgently needs to be addressed in the summer.

According to a report from the Mirror (Friday January 8th, Page 61), the 19-year-old Slavia Prague striker is the Hammers’ number one centre-forward target.

The 19-year-old would be exceptional addition for West Ham.

He is still very rough around the edges but what an incredible talent!

Hammers insider ExWHUemployee shared what the Slavia Prague president told him about the chances of selling the teenage hitman this summer, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday March 3rd):

“Sima from Slavia Prague, he is a target but nowhere near the fee that has been recently quoted. I have spoken to Slavia Prague president Jaroslav Tvrdik quite frequently. He has said that he is forever talking to West Ham fans about buying his players. He said that in the summer, they might entertain bids.”

If Slavia do sell Sima in the summer, let’s hope that our superb relationship with the Czech club stands us in good stead.

Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal will surely play a key role in West Ham bringing Sima to the London Stadium.

And hopefully we can pick up the red-hot striker for a reasonable fee.

Something around £20-25 million seems a fair price. It remains to be seen whether the West Ham owners are prepared to lay out that kind of cash on somewhat of an unproven commodity, however.
