Fans hit out at owners over lack of investment

West Ham fans are furious with co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold for the lack of investment.

Particularly after selling young star Grady Diangana to fund incomings.

A deeply disappointing deadline day has left David Moyes with just 20 senior players in his squad.

But all hope is not lost according to ExWHUemployee.

Premier League clubs now have until next Friday to sign players from EFL clubs.

Ex took to Twitter in the wake of the main window slamming shut.

Insider claims West Ham are moving for Championship targets today

“I have been told that we have a number of Championship targets lined up and will start making moves today so they are ready to play after the international window (if we sign them),” ExWHUemployee said on Twitter.

And that, as West Ham fans know all too well, is a big ‘IF’ given their abysmal track record.

West Ham have been linked with a host of players from the Championship.

Moyes now desperately needs another central midfielder, attacking midfielder, centre-back and striker.

How he is going to manage to cover those positions with his reported £35million budget is anyone’s guess.

Do West Ham have the funds or the ability to close any deals?

Championship players have proved very expensive this summer.

Matty Cash and Ollie Watkins went to Aston Villa for a combined £45million. Eberechi Eze cost Crystal Palace nearly £17m.

West Ham have been linked with Swansea defender Joe Rodon, who is rated at £18m, and £25m rated Said Benrahma.

It remains to be seen whether the Hammers can not only get players capable of making the step up to the Premier League, but also get the deals done.
