A reliable West Ham United insider who also has connections at Chelsea has delivered an exciting update on David Moyes’s striker search.
David Gold savaged again as he passes on Fornals message
West Ham sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax for £20million in the January window but Moyes elected to wait until the summer to sign a replacement.
Meanwhile across London, West Ham’s rivals Chelsea were busy changing managers in a bid to start seeing some return on their heavy investment in the transfer market.

More change at Chelsea in a bid to keep pace with West Ham in race for Europe
Out went former Hammer Frank Lampard and in came Thomas Tuchel.
West Ham and Chelsea are now battling one another for the European spots.
But there may be some business between the pair in the summer if West Ham boss Moyes gets his way.
That’s after West Ham insider ExWHUemployee – who also has links behind the scenes at Chelsea – claimed Moyes wants Blues outcast Tammy Abraham as Haller’s replacement.
It comes after Abraham was again linked with a move to West Ham by the likes of The Daily Star.

Insider makes exciting claim about West Ham’s Abraham interest and lifts lid on Moyes’s summer shortlist
The striker scored a brace in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over the Hammers back in December.
And speaking on his Patreon site ExWHUemployee confirmed West Ham’s interest while revealing how many strikers are on Moyes’s summer shortlist.
“Tammy Abraham has emerged as a potential signing for the club in the summer,” ExWHUemployee said on his Patreon site.
“He has fallen out of favour at Chelsea who do not want to match his wages requests following recent contract discussions.
“The club have voiced other concerns regarding the player too and some of these stem back from his days under Lampard. Whilst the number 1 forward target has yet to be identified Abraham could fit the bill.
“His friendship with captain Declan Rice is thought to be something else that could be a factor in any deal having known each other from their Chelsea youth team days.
“Abraham, 23, fits the criteria of forward that Moyes likes. Abraham is thought to be on a list of about five forwards who we will open talks with in the summer.”

Hammers and Chelsea have a history of getting deals done
Abraham’s contract at Chelsea expires in 2023.
So how much Roman Abramovich would want for the England forward remains to be seen.
West Ham and Chelsea have done some high profile business over the years. Frank Lampard is the most notable.
Then Glen Johnson became the first signing of the Abramovich era when the Russian’s money funded a £6m move from relegated West Ham.
And fellow Hammer Joe Cole joined him in a paltry £6.6m move.
John Terry left West Ham at 14 to join Chelsea. And Hammers hero Declan Rice went the other way at the same age after being released.
The last striker West Ham signed from Chelsea, Carlton Cole, went on to have a memorable Hammers career.
