ExWHUemployee has claimed there is a possibility that West Ham could offer a new deal to Declan Rice at some point in the near future, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday December 2nd).
The 21-year-old has been in absolutely brilliant form for the Hammers this season.
In fact, he has been our best and most consistent player over the past two or three years.

Keeping Rice at the London Stadium will be vital for David Moyes, if he is to guide West Ham into a new era of success.
The 13-capped England international is still under contract with the Hammers until the summer of 2024. The east London outfit are believed to have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months as well.
ExWHUemployee has claimed that the West Ham hierarchy could be lining up a new deal for Rice imminently, however, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night:

“New contracts are now being weighed up. There’s the possibility of trying to offer Declan Rice a new deal to convince him to stay.”
Rice attracted interest from Chelsea in the summer (The Telegraph). West Ham stood firm, however, and kept hold of their prized asset.
Chelsea’s interest will surely not just go away. So in order to keep the 21-year-old, the board need to match his ambition by backing David Moyes in the transfer market.
Whether they are prepared to do just that, however, remains to be seen.
