ExWHUemployee delivers emphatic verdict on West Ham move for Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek and hints at another Blues bid

West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee has delivered an emphatic verdict on reports the club could sign Chelsea outcast Ruben Loftus-Cheek before tonight’s deadline.

West Ham are seemingly perennially linked with the former England midfielder who has been farmed out on loan to Fulham and Crystal Palace in recent seasons.

Speculation emerged that Loftus-Cheek is once again set to leave Chelsea on loan before the window slams shut.

Hammers linked with Loftus-Cheek yet again

And like clockwork West Ham – and reported big admirer David Moyes – came into the equation.

According to well informed West Ham insiders Claret and Hugh, West Ham were bidding to take Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea having already signed Kurt Zouma from the Blues in a £29m deal.

West Ham are also said to be on the verge of signing attacking midfield ace Nikola Vlasic.

Claret and Hugh claimed the Hammers want Loftus-Cheek at the London Stadium on loan with first refusal to buy at the end of the season.

Insider says deal is a non-starter after West Ham enquiries uncovered huge £10m loan package

But now another West Ham insider, ExWHUemployee, has claimed the move has been called off after it emerged it could cost the Hammers around £10m in fees.

There may still be hope for West Ham fans who want to see another arrival, though.

That’s because Ex also suggested the club could move for another unnamed Chelsea player on loan instead – with fans assuming it could be Ross Barkley.

ExWHUemployee suggests Moyes could look to loan another Chelsea player or alternative from elsewhere

The Hammers may also look elsewhere for an alternative loan, the insider claims.

“I have just been told that the move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan will not happen following enquiries,” ExWHUemployee said on The West Ham Way Patreon site.

“The deal with loan fee, agents fee and wages thrown in is set to be over £10m and the club cannot afford this.

“Other loan options are currently being discussed (including ones at Chelsea) but this is how quickly the window will change up until tomorrow’s cut off point.”

In other news, Imminent reported West Ham signing has absolutely insane record.

And West Ham fans baffled over Abraham as Moyes nears £31.5m signing.
