The Hammers have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 24-year-old hitman since Sebastien Haller left to link up with Ajax last week.

In fact, West Ham’s interest in Dia was first reported in December by 90 Min. Those claims were then backed up by ExWHUemployee a few days later.

The Evening Standard then claimed that the Hammers had actually opened talks to sign the striker.

Boulaye Dia moving closer to West Ham move?

The Senegal international would be an absolutely incredible addition for the Hammers.

The 24-year-old has been on fire in France this season with 12 Ligue 1 goals to his name already.

 

He is strong, powerful, explosive and suits David Moyes’ setup at West Ham to a tee.

ExWHUemployee has delivered spoke good news regarding the Hammers’ pursuit of Boulaye Dia.

The West Ham insider has claimed that the club will step up their pursuit of Dia this week and are hoping that trusted intermediary Willie McKay can help get the deal to sign the striker concluded.

This comes after RMC Sport’s live transfer feed (January 14th, 14:31) first reported about McKay’s involvement in the deal three days ago.

Let’s hope that however the deal is being negotiated, we just get this one done.

Signing Dia will be pivotal to our hopes of finishing inside the top seven this season. West Ham can’t afford to mess this one up. Get it done Sully!
