ExWHUemployee claims West Ham definitely want to sign Barcelona ace during in-depth transfer update

ExWHUemployee delivered his regular transfer update yesterday and claimed that West Ham are in talks with two different left-backs and Junior Firpo is DEFINITELY an option.

In other news…New striker linked as report claims West Ham now want red-hot 16-goal English hitman

Hammers boss David Moyes needs to bring an established striker to the London Stadium first and foremost this month.

Lets have it right here though. We need another left-back / left wing-back as well.

Moyes has already said that Arthur Masuaku is still eight weeks away from a return to action.

In order to revert to his favoured 5-2-3 system, the Scot quite simply must bring in a top class wing-back this month.

ExWHUemployee transfer update

And the man for the job at the London Stadium could very well be Barcelona ace Junior Firpo.

ESPN reported yesterday that West Ham are ready to sign 24-year-old on a permanent deal this month.

And now ExWHUemployee has claimed that the Barca ace is definitely an option. The Hammers insider suggests that we want to sign him on loan with an option to buy in the summer rather than on a permanent deal, however.

West Ham ready to bring Junior Firpo to East London?

Ex also claimed that West Ham are actually in talks with TWO left-backs. So it seems as though the club are casting the net far and wide once again.

It is the old Sullivan scattergun at its finest. That’s what happens whaen you don’t have a scouting department.

Having said all of that, Firpo would be an excellent addition for West Ham.

He has been described as an outstanding player who excels in 1v1’s, both from an attacking and a defensive perspective (Total Football Analysis). He has also been compared to legendary left-backs Roberto Carlos and Marcelo (La Liga Analysis).

The Spaniard is exactly the kind of player Moyes should be looking to sign. He could be available for around £18 million according to ESPN.

Let’s hope that we are ready to offer Firpo and Barcelona what they want to make the deal happen.
