Hammers boss David Moyes has brought in a selection of talented youngsters, but we need players for the here and now.

The Scot needs to sign at least one top-class striker, an established centre-back, a gifted number 10 and a hard-working central midfielder before the transfer window slams shut at the end of this month.

Links with Tammy Abraham and Matheus Pereira have gone cold.

Meanwhile, deals for Kurt Zouma and/or Nikola Milenkovic seem to be a long way off from happening.

The Hammers insider claims that talks to sign Zouma have stalled whilst our valuation of Matheus Pereira is a long way off of West Brom’s.

The fact that we have left it this late to do our business is rather strange.

We trust Moyes, however, and have full faith in the Scot that he will bring the players he needs into the club within the next few weeks.
