Every word David Moyes said on West Ham D-Day transfers after the dour 1-1 draw with Bournemouth at the London Stadium.

West Ham were once again forced to play a Premier League game on transfer deadline day.

The Hammers were in the same situation back in the summer, scheduled to play in the win at Luton Town during the last knockings of that window.

There has been claim and counter claim about the departures of Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma all window.

And it came down to the final day for prospective moves to Real Betis and Lyon respectively to get anywhere close.

But how close? Fornals was in the West Ham squad for the game against Bournemouth only to be pulled out at the last minute.

Brinkmanship from the Hammers to force Real Betis to pay the money they wanted perhaps?

Moyes was in no mood to chat in depth about transfers after the draw with Bournemouth.

Probably not helped by the awful performance of his side.

‘I’ve not spoken to the people upstairs’

Here’s every word Moyes said on West Ham D-Day transfers after the dour draw with Bournemouth.

And as a pre-warning to fans, it’s neither illuminating or exciting.

“I’ve not spoken to the people upstairs. But I think everybody is aware there’s a chance things could be happening,” Moyes said on TNT Sports.

“But it’s (Fornals) not been confirmed to me at the moment.

“Well obviously if he (Benrahma) was out in France, he was out having a medical, but I couldn’t tell you if it’s been done or not either, I’ve not been given the news by anybody since I’ve came in.”

Disappointingly, Moyes was not asked by interviewer Becky Ives about the potential for any last minute arrivals.

Or whether he was happy or otherwise with his club’s dealings.
