Transfer guru gushes over Czech midfield star
“He’s a defensive midfielder, he was the Czech player of the year, they (Slavia Prague) won the title, he’s been playing in the Champions League, he’s scored quite a few goals this season as well from midfield,” Solhekol said on Sky Sports’s Transfer Show.
“I actually watched him play for the Czech Republic in Prague against England in October and he was one of the best players on the pitch, he was very impressive that night when the Czech Republic won 2-1.
“If West Ham can tie this deal down, and it looks like they’re about to, I think potentially he could be a very good signing for them.
“He could be the player West Ham need if they sign him.
“A bit of good news for the fans this evening, because this guy is a very, very good player.”
