David Moyes is in the process of finalising his backroom team after his return to West Ham United.
Alan Irvine has been confirmed as one of the Scot’s assistants once again for their second spell in East London in as many years.
Last time Moyes appointed Irvine, former Hammer of the Year Stuart Pearce and Billy McKinlay as his assistants.
This time it may be difficult to lure Pearce due to other commitments while McKinlay is currently working under Michael O’Neill at Stoke.

Moyes will be keen to have someone one board with West Ham connections.
So should he take advantage of a very passionate and public offer from another former Hammer of the Year, Joe Cole?
Speaking on BT Sport at the weekend Cole made it clear he would be keen on a coaching role with West Ham.
The former midfield playmaker said he would walk to both West Ham and Chelsea to start his coaching career.

“There needs to be better communication to the fans,” Cole told BT Sport.
“My philosophy at West Ham would be to go and buy young and hungry players. They want style and commitment.
“David Moyes is a fantastic manager and he would do a good job if he came in. But it needs to be right underneath him.
“There are only two clubs I would leave you guys for and it would be West Ham and Chelsea. I’d walked to both clubs now.”
West Ham could do a lot worse.
Homegrown former West Ham captain Cole won everything as a player, had two spells with the Hammers and is a vastly experienced England international.

He could help get the best out of West Ham’s attacking talent such as Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini.
Cole is well known to several members of West Ham’s squad and is close friends with skipper Mark Noble.
As a former prodigal youngster and academy graduate, Cole would also provide a great reference point and guide for a host of players coming through the system at West Ham.
It is important for any club to have people in the coaching setup who understand the fabric, history and expectations.
Moyes brought Phil Neville into his coaching setup while at Everton.
Doing the same with Cole at West Ham could be a masterstroke.
