The Hammers signed the 25-year-old midfielder originally on loan from Slavia Prague in January of this year.
The 29-capped Czech Republic international proved to be an instant success at the London Stadium.

And West Ham made his loan deal a permanent one in July for around €21 million (£18.6 million) according to WHUFC.com.
Soucek, who earns £67k-a-week according to Spotrac, has completely changed the way in which West Ham play. His energy, stamina and athleticism has proven to be exactly what we needed in the middle of the park.
What a player. How lucky we are to have him.
David Moyes offered high words of praise for the Czech ace on Sunday, as quoted by Football.London:

“Have to say Tomas Soucek has been great. He has done a brilliant job.”
The 25-year-old has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League since joining West Ham.
Soucek has scored four goals in 22 Premier League games for the Hammers. The Czech ace is a real threat from set pieces, and he provides strong cover defensively.
For just £18.6 million, the 25-year-old has been an absolute steal for West Ham.
And if Soucek carries on playing the way that he has done, he could end up being one of the players of the season in the Premier League.
