David Moyes is open to signing Marko Arnautovic for West Ham United in the summer according to talkSPORT transfer expert Alex Crook.
In other news…Report: West Ham likely to make an offer for striker who’s scored 90 Premier League goals
The Hammers boss absolutely has to bolster his centre-forward ranks this summer.
Nothing less than signing two top class strikers will do this summer.
Moyes doesn’t have lavish funds to spend this summer, however. So one of the striker signings will probably have to be a free transfer or a loan deal.
David Moyes would welcome Marko Arnautovic signing
The 32-year-old left the London Stadium to join Shanghai SIPG, now known as Shanghai Port, in July 2019. The striker earns an incredible £200k-a-week in China (Daily Mirror).
He is far from popular in East London after the way he angled for a move away from the Hammers before his eventual exit two years ago.
Some fans definitely would not welcome Arnie back with open arms. David Moyes would, however, according to talkSPORT transfer guru Alex Crook:
“A few murmurings that Marko Arnautovic would fancy a return to the London Stadium. I think David Moyes would probably welcome that from what I’m told. I’m not convinced the fans and the owners would.”
If West Ham make a marquee striker signing this summer, bringing Arnautovic in on a free as well wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world.
There would certainly be substantial resistance to his return from some sections of the London Stadium faithful, however.

David Moyes just needs to weigh up the pros and cons. If he truly believes the 32-year-old can make a difference for us next season, I’m fully behind it.
