Hammers boss David Moyes has delivered an exciting West Ham transfer update amid links to Lucas Paqueta and a midfield duo.
With just over one week left of the window West Ham are far from done yet.
Moyes has made seven signings this summer with over £120m spent as he reshapes his West Ham squad following a raft of departures.

West Ham are still actively looking for midfielders, both attacking and defensive.
The Hammers have been linked with a host of players in those positions including Hans Vanaken, Conor Gallagher and now Lyon star Lucas Paqueta.
Reports abound that West Ham are in talks to sign Brazilian playmaker Paqueta (Sky Sports).
“West Ham have made a bid worth €40m (£33.75m) for Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta,” Sky Sports states.
“The player’s agents are in London and want to conclude a deal with a Premier League club before the end of the window. Talks are continuing between the clubs…

“Meanwhile, talks are continuing with Club Brugge over the signing of Belgium midfielder Hans Vanaken.
“West Ham are also looking at other options – including Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi. The Hammers are keeping an eye on Conor Gallagher’s situation at Chelsea. If he is allowed to leave, West Ham are very interested in doing a deal.”
So it was inevitable that the manager would be asked about transfers in his press conference ahead of the game against Viborg in the Europa Conference League.
And Moyes has delivered an exciting West Ham transfer update amid links to Paqueta and midfield duo Gallagher and Vanaken.

“We’re just trying to get someone who can complement what we’ve got,” Moyes told the press when asked about interest in Paqueta and others (whufc.com).
“We’ve been trying to add to a lot of areas, and trying to improve areas where we could do with adding to.
“We want to add value to what we’ve got.”
Opening up further on transfers Moyes confirmed bids for Paqueta and Vanaken (Football.London).
“Made an improved bid for him…” Moyes said on Vanaken (Football.London).

“We have bid for him (Paqueta). He can play 10, 8, plays as a false 9. I think his pedigree is really good. Doesn’t always guarantee that it works but hope it helps towards getting better.”
West Ham fans will be hugely encouraged by today’s rumours especially given Moyes has now confirmed he is working on adding more signings before next Thursday’s deadline.
Not only that but the Scot seems to sound confident over Paqueta in particular.
