Gold has angered the Hammers fans in past with his Twitter interactions.
But this time we should take his tweet as a positive.
The West Ham co-owner took to Twitter yesterday in response to a fan who accused him of nearly messing up the deal to sign Jesse Lingard on loan:
The West Ham owners have messed up numerous transfer deals in the past with their haggling over fees and wages.
This criticism simply cannot be levelled at them this time, however.
They got the loan deal for Lingard over the line. That’s the bottom line.

And Jesse has been a superb addition for West Ham. David Moyes bringing him to the London Stadium from Manchester United on loan now looks like a stunning piece of business.
The hard work will start in the summer, however.
Signing the England international on a permanent deal has to be one of our main priorities.
Lingard seems to be right at home at the London Stadium. He is clearly loving life in the East End and that is translating into superb performances on the pitch.
David Gold tweet bodes well for Jesse Lingard permanent deal hopes
The 28-year-old has racked up four goals and one assist in six games for the Hammers so far. And he has been rewarded for his fine form with a call-up to the England national squad ahead of next week’s international fixtures.
The fact that he has been recalled to the Three Lions squad should convince Jesse that he can achieve his ambitions at the London Stadium.
And David Gold proved yesterday that he and David Sullivan were determined to bring him to the club in January.
That surely means that they are prepared to make his move to East London a permanent one in the summer.

Eurosport claimed recently that West Ham will have to pay around £20 million for Lingard.
That seems like a very good deal for someone who has had such a transformational impact at the club.
Hopefully Gold and Sullivan get this one done with minimum fuss in the summer.
If West Ham are to make genuine progress, the permanent signing of Lingard from Manchester United will be vital to our hopes of doing just that.
And judging by Gold’s tweet, the Hammers owners will surely be prepared to go the extra mile to make it happen.
