West Ham co-owner David Gold has suggested that there could be more movement at the club before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

The Hammers have already spent heavily this summer. They’ve brought in Sebastien Haller, Pablo Fornals and Goncalo Cardoso for in excess of £70 million.

Manuel Pellegrini has also strengthened his goalkeeping department, bringing in free agents David Martin and Roberto.

If West Ham are to make a push for the top six this season, however, it could be argued that they need at least one more established player.

Another striker to provide competition for Haller and Javier Hernandez is surely a priority for Pellegrini.

The Hammers’ interest in FC Basel hitman Albian Ajeti has been well-documented. With time running out, however, the east London outfit will have to get down to business quickly.

And David Gold took to Twitter last night, suggesting that there could be movement at the London Stadium today:

Gold seems to suggest that there could be in and outs over the course of the next 36 hours.

And West Ham fans will be hoping that Pellegrini manages to add some real quality to his ranks before tomorrow’s 5pm deadline.
