West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the news that David Moyes wants to bring Ben Brereton Diaz to the London Stadium in the January transfer window.

West Ham desperately need to sign a top-class centre-forward this month.

Michail Antonio is currently the only recognised senior striker at the London Stadium and that quite clearly isn’t acceptable for a club with aspirations of challenging for honours both domestically and on the continent.
Moyes is clearly very keen to address that issue though.
Brereton Diaz would be a very useful addition for the Hammers.
The centre-forward has 20 goals in 27 Championship appearances for Blackburn to his name this season (Transfermarkt). He isn’t the quickest but he’s a hard-working forward and is a very good finisher.
It must be said though, £28.5 million is an awful lot of money for West Ham to be paying for the 22-year-old, considering the fact that he has absolutely no pedigree at Premier League level.
