A controversial new report predicting how next season will pan out has not go down too well with West Ham United star Declan Rice.

BT Sport released what they are calling the script of the season this week.

The broadcaster claims the biggest brains in data have got together to map out the entire season.

“The twists, the turns, the ecstasy and the agony,” BT Sport said about the report.

‘Script’ maps out West Ham’s season

“Every goal scorer, every local derby and every result in Europe. This is the story of the 2019/20 season. Commissioned by BT, written by data. Find out your team’s fate today.”

West Ham have been backed to challenge the top six this season by a host of pundits and former players.

So West Ham’s fate in the script’ may not go down well with supporters.

The Script: Leaky Hammers take step backwards

The controversial report, which has been universally panned, says West Ham will be the lowest placed London club with an 11th place finish.

The report also predicts the Hammers will leak goals, particularly away from home.

It does suggest West Ham will hold Manchester City in the opening game, though.

Football fans across the country have ridiculed the study.

Declan reacts… with darts

And West Ham star Declan Rice clearly thinks it is not worth the paper it is printed on.

The midfielder took to Twitter to make his feelings clear on the matter, pinning it to a dartboard and firing arrows at ‘the script’.

“Think you can predict the unpredictable?” Rice said.

“Think again! ⚒ BT Sport #Unscripted.”
