I firmly believe that Conor Coady will be a transfer target for West Ham after Everton decided not to make his loan move a permanent one.
Everton will not be bringing Conor Coady to Goodison Park on a permanent deal according to BBC, and it would not surprise me one little bit if West Ham swooped in for the England international’s signature.

With Mark Noble having retired last summer, Craig Dawson joining Wolves from the Hammers in January and Declan Rice set to move on before the start of next season, the Hammers have lost some proper leaders and characters from the squad.
David Moyes will undoubtedly be looking to add some experienced characters to his squad at the London Stadium this summer, in order to address the current lack of leadership amongst the playing ranks. And the Wolves owned centre-back seems like player who Moyes would really appreciate…
Conor Coady leaves Everton and David Moyes will love him at West Ham
The Toffees had an option to buy the 30-year-old defender for £4.5 million (BBC).
So he will obviously be available on the cheap when the summer transfer window opens. And I fully expect the Hammers to try and sign him.

Coady would obviously be a hugely influential figure in the West Ham dressing room. And I wouldn’t be totally against signing him for that alone.
However, his footballing ability is nowhere near the level that Moyes should be targeting in my opinion.
Conor Coady didn’t exactly set the world alight with Everton – they would have taken up their option to sign him permanently if he did.
Nonetheless, I believe we should be keeping a close eye on the Wolves man when the transfer window opens. I would not be shocked one little bit if Moyes brings him to the London Stadium.
