West Ham have a real chance of signing Christian Eriksen with Gazzetta dello Sport (Print edition, December 22nd, pages 2 and 3) claiming that Inter Milan are now willing to send the Denmark international out on loan.
A potential loan deal to sign the 28-year-old seems more realistic than a permanent transfer.
Christian Eriksen is not wanted by some West Ham fans, however…
West Ham have a very strong midfield with Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice forming the heartbeat of our team.
David Moyes will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium, however.
Christian Eriksen: Creative, intelligent and mercurial
It could be argued that the addition of a creative midfielder will be featuring highly on the Scot’s agenda.

On paper, Christian Eriksen would surely be a magnificent addition for the Hammers.
His last season with Tottenham will be a worry, however. Eriksen looked incredibly disinterested and when the going gets tough, he does have the tendency to go missing.
It could also be argued that the Denmark international’s £120k-a-week wage demands (Calcio Mercato) should rule West Ham out of the running anyway.
This is one that surely won’t happen. David Moyes should be prioritising the additions of a new centre-forward and a left-back/left wing-back in January.
We don’t have that much money as it is. And spending whatever budget we do have on Christian Eriksen would make little sense.
