Charlie Nicholas predicted that West Ham will beat Sheffield United tomorrow, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports.
The Hammers are currently in the midst of a poor run of form. They have taken just one point from their last three Premier League games.
The Blades, meanwhile, are flying, and will be riding high on confidence, having beaten Arsenal last time out.
Chris Wilder’s men currently sit two places ahead of West Ham in the table, although they have the same amount of points as Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
West Ham desperately need a win against Sheffield United, and Charlie Nicholas explained why he thinks they will get all three points, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports:
“This is a decent game between two teams with good energy when they are at it. We have been complementing West Ham – Manuel Pellegrini has been clever – but they went to Everton and everyone to a man was poor. Sheffield United, as we saw against Arsenal, are very good in their shape and in energy and togetherness. They are always at you, with four or five runners too. The Blades don’t score many, though, and I think West Ham will be angry after last week.”
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-1
The Hammers will need to be at it from the very first whistle against the south Yorkshire side.
The Blades are well organised, and pose a potent threat down both flanks.
West Ham have more than enough to trouble the visitors, but they will need to be much better than they were away at Everton last weekend.
