Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing up a bargain January transfer, in what is a big blow for West Ham United.
West Ham could be set to miss out on one of our ket targets to Wolves in the January transfer window it seems.
According to the Mirror, Wolves are lining up a £7 million move to sign Hammers target Josh Brownhill, 27, in the January window.
The midfielder is out of contract with the Clarets in the summer, although they do have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.
David Moyes is keen to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium, and is believed to be eyeing up a move for Brownhill.
However, the Scot could now be beaten to the punch for the Burnley star it seems…

West Ham could miss out on Josh Brownhill to Wolves in January
The Mirror claim that Burnley could be forced to sell the former Bristol City midfielder to Wolves for just £7 million this winter.
He is a proven Premier League performer, and will be a solid addition for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
The 27-year-old is incredibly hard working and actually possesses decent technical ability as well – something that often goes under the radar with him.
I would actually like him at the London Stadium, but you can bet your bottom dollar that they’ll be plenty of Hammers fans who don’t want him anywhere near our club.
Here’s the thing – Brownhill might not be the most fashionable of midfielders, but he’s exactly what we need and let’s face it, Moyes will be a huge fan of his work-rate and commitment to the cause.
The 27-year-old is strong in the challenge and a very proficient passer of the football. He’d provide great cover for our current central midfield options and wouldn’t be too expensive either.
However, it seems as though Wolves could be set to beat West Ham to Brownhill’s signature, and that’s a real shame as far as I’m concered.
