According to beIN SPORTS journalist Hafid Derradji, Real Betis centre-back Aissa Mandi is close to joining Liverpool in a £9 million deal. And the news will obviously come as a blow to West Ham boss David Moyes.
Hammers boss Moyes must be looking to bolster his defensive ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
And the same can be said of Reds manager Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, especially after Dejan Lovren’s exit.
But it seems as though Liverpool are set to beat West Ham to Aissa Mandi this summer.
beIN SPORTS journalist Hafid Derradji has claimed that the Reds are closing in on a deal to sign the Algeria international, with a £9 million deal thought to be imminent:

So Moyes will now have to look elsewhere in his search for a new centre-back.
Missing out on Mandi will hurt, however. £9 million would have been an absolute steal for the 28-year-old.
In 29 La Liga outings for Betis this season, Mandi averaged 1.1 tackles, 1.3 interception and three clearances per game. He also won an average of 2.1 aerial duals per game during those appearances (Who Scored).
The Algerian seems to be ideally suited to the Premier League. And he would have been a really useful addition for West Ham.
But Klopp seems to be on the verge of bringing him to Anfield. And the 28-year-old will undoubtedly be a real hit at Liverpool.
