West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang reportedly wants to leave the club in the summer. Reliable West Ham insider EXWHUEmployee has told Phoenix FM’s The West Ham Way podcast (Tuesday 30th April) that Obiang wants to return to Italy at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has been at West Ham since his move from Sampdoria in 2015. In that time, Obiang has racked up over 100 appearances for the club.
But after missing out on a £10m January move to Fiorentina (Sky Sports News), Obiang is angling for a return to Italy in the summer.

The Equatorial Guinea international has mainly been a bench-warmer for Manuel Pellegrini this season. Of his 23 Premier League appearances this term, he has only started 11 matches.
West Ham are likely to grant Obiang’s wish and let him leave in the summer. With transfer funds low, player sales are necessary to bring in new faces.
Obiang will leave West Ham fans with at least one memorable moment. His long-range thunderbolt against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley will be live long in the memory.
But ultimately, many West Ham fans are not too fussed. Here are some tweets discussing his potential departure.
