David Moyes has been unveiled as the new West Ham United manager for the second time in as many years and it has not gone down well with fans.
Moyes had a six-month spell in charge before Manuel Pellegrini was appointed in 2018.
He helped keep West Ham up but ended his tenure with a lowly win ratio of 29%.
Fans are threatening to protest against co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold.
Supporters are plotting to boycott games and many claim they will not renew season tickets after Moyes penned an 18-month contract (whufc.com).

Moyes in, but who will assist him?
It has not yet been announced who will come in as Moyes’ assistants.
Last time he brought in three respected coaches in the shape of Stuart Pearce, Alan Irvine and Billy McKinlay.
Such is the strength of feeling against his return, West Ham need something fresh, something radical, something inspirational.
And they have been few more inspirational sights of late than big Duncan Ferguson helping turn Everton’s season around as interim coach before Carlo Ancelotti’s appointment.
Big Dunc – as he is affectionately known – showed his passion and tactical acumen during a brief stint as Toffees boss recently.
Is Big Dunc the answer to get West Ham fans onside?
There were calls from some quarters to give him the Everton job full-time.
But the Everton board showed great ambition landing Ancelotti instead.
Ferguson was appointed as one of the Italian’s assistants alongside his son Davide.
That decision seemed very much a fan pleasing exercise with Ancelotti more or less admitting as much by revealing he was used to his previous bosses installing a ‘club man’ on his coaching staff (The Liverpool Echo).
So Moyes should test Ancelotti’s true desire to hang on to Ferguson by offering him the assistant manager’s job at West Ham.
Ferguson is an Everton legend who loves the club. But a job as assistant manager to his old boss and fellow Scot Moyes would undoubtedly be more meaningful than the one he occupies in the new Everton regime.
Stale Hammers need a fresh face
The former striker would have a greater say in things at West Ham and would perhaps be better served to cut his teeth at the London Stadium if he does have plans to become a manager in his own right.
Ancelotti is known to be very relaxed and easy going on his squad. That might jar with the ethics of Ferguson who had succeeded in firing Everton up in a way Marco Silva failed to manage.
Ferguson would certainly help bang a few heads together at West Ham. And that is sorely needed.
If Moyes’s appointment has failed to capture the imagination of the Hammers faithful perhaps Big Dunc is the man to get them back on board.
