Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to make a marquee striker signing this summer.

In fact, it could be argued that we need at least two!

Eurosport recently claimed that Blues hitman Tammy Abraham is on West Ham’s radar.

In fact, ExWHUemployee claims that the 23-year-old is David Moyes’s number one centre-forward transfer target.

Tammy, who earns £65k-a-week (Football League FC) appears to be surplus to requirements under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

And missing out on the 23-year-old to Dean Smith’s Aston Villa would be a big blow to stomach for West Ham.

The Blues ace would be the ideal summer addition for the Hammers. He is quick, possesses impressive movement and is a very good finisher.

Abraham has all of the qualities that David Moyes likes in a striker. It seems as though the Scot may have to move on to alternative transfer targets, however.

Tammy spent a successful loan spell at Villa Park a few years ago. So he is obviously very comfortable in the West Midlands.

And if Aston Villa win the race for the Chelsea star’s signature, it will be very much their gain and West Ham’s loss.
