Arsenal are the latest club to join West Ham in the race to sign RB Salzburg ace Patson Daka according to a report from Zam Foot.
Hammers boss David Moyes is desperate to bring the rapid 22-year-old striker to the London Stadium this summer (Zam Foot).
Daka will cost somewhere around £22 million this summer according to football journalist Ekrem Konur.
It seems as though Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is keen to bring the Zmabia international to the Emirates. That’s according to Zam Foot.
And Arsenal’s alleged interest in Daka will obviously affect West Ham’s chances of signing him this summer.
The RB Salzburg ace is an absolutely outstanding talent. He has been described as an ‘exceptional goal machine’ by well-renowned statistical analysis website Who Scored.
Daka racked up a stunning 34 goals and 12 assists in 42 games for RB Salzburg so far this season (Transfermarkt). That is a sensational return whatever league you’re playing in.
Arsenal ready to hijack West Ham move for Patson Daka?
Zam Foot claims that although the Hammers are leading the race to sign the 22-year-old, the Gunners have now joined them.
The Zambia international possesses blistering pace, has great movement and is a lethal finisher.
He would be a sensational addition for West Ham. So Arsenal throwing their hat into the ring for the Zambian will certainly be an unwelcome inconvenience for the East London outfit.
We can offer Daka something that Arsenal can’t of course. Europa League football.
Hopefully that will be enough to convince the 22-year-old speed demon that his future lies at the London Stadium.

Now is the time to send a big message to the rest of the Premier League. Winning the race for Daka’s signature would be a huge statement from West Ham.
Arsenal eyeing up the Zambian is the last thing we needed though.
