However, Pellegrini has struggled so far with defeats in each of his opening three games.

Meanwhile, up at Celtic a lack of spending has reportedly put Rodgers on a collision course with the club’s board.
Speculation has been rife the former Liverpool boss won’t be at Celtic Park much longer (Sky Sports).
And while it is far too early to write off project Pellegrini at West Ham, concerns are already being raised.
Some supporters and pundits feel the former Manchester City boss simply doesn’t fit in East London.

Many accuse Pellegrini of being out of touch with modern day Premier League tactics after two years in the footballing backwater that is China.
A tricky fixture list could see Pellegrini under intense pressure if results don’t improve.
Should Rodgers be potentially available that could tempt West Ham owners David Sullivan and David Gold to make a decision.
It is all ‘ifs and buts’.
Of course such talk will subside if Pellegrini starts getting a tune out of his new-look squad.
Failure to do that and Rodgers to West Ham rumours will not be far away.
