Amazing West Ham target Boubacar Kamara – who has been tipped to replace Mark Noble – says he will announce his new club soon.
West Ham have long been linked with the brilliant Marseille star Kamara, who is available on a free transfer this summer.
The likes of Goal claimed just last month that the Hammers are still in the mix for the 22-year-old’s signature.
Kamara is a special talent and could forge an unbelievable partnership with Declan Rice in the heart of West Ham’s midfield.
Given he is free agent, competition for Kamara’s signature promises to be fierce as West Ham look to replace Noble, who retires today.
Now West Ham target Kamara has confirmed he is leaving Marseille and will announce his new club soon.
Amazing West Ham target Boubacar Kamara says he will announce new club soon
Kamara made the announcement this morning on Téléfoot that he will be leaving former Hammer Dimitri Payet’s Marseille at the end of his contract next month.
The reported West Ham target has been in the first team squad of his hometown club for five seasons but wants a new challenge.
Kamara confirmed he is moving to ‘a new league’. And West Ham fans will be waiting with bated breath to find out if the Hammers have pulled off a sensational coup.
“I’ve made my decision, which is to not renew and to leave OM at the end of this season,” Kamara said on Téléfoot.
“I think it’s the best decision for the next part of my career.
“I’m at a point in my career where I want to progress, to discover a new challenge, a new league. I’ve chosen my future club, you’ll find out who it is soon.”
The Marseille defensive midfielder would undoubtedly take West Ham to another level entirely.
Milan Reports describe the Frenchman as a ‘sensational’ talent.
In 31 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille this season, Kamara has averaged two tackles and 1.4 interceptions per match.
He’s made over 70 passes on average per game and has recorded an incredibly successful completion rate of over 90% (Who Scored).
