West Ham are now confident of signing Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard according to J Montanelli.

The Red Devils are allegedly closing in on a deal to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus (BBC).
If Ronaldo does return to Old Trafford, Lingard’s days as a Manchester United player are surely numbered.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a wonderful four-month spell at the London Stadium last season. He bagged nine goals and four assists in just 16 Premier League games for West Ham.
David Moyes is clearly desperate to bring Jesse back to East London. And it appears as though there could be every chance of that happening now.

J Montanelli has been gaining traction on Twitter in recent weeks with some accurate claims pertaining to the Hammers’ transfer business.
And he provided an exciting Lingard update this afternoon…
Everything seems to be coming into place.
With Ronaldo set to return to Manchester United, Lingard’s minutes will be reduced even further still.
If he wants to force his way into the England squad ahead of the World Cup next year, he needs to be playing regularly.
He would be almost guaranteed that at the London Stadium.
