Alleged West Ham target Adam Armstrong scored the winner for Blackburn Rovers against Millwall at Ewood Park last night.

He also provided an assist for his team during their 2-1 win against the Lions.
Armstrong has now taken his tally to 14 goals in 14 Championship games for Rovers (Transfermarkt).

Hammers boss David Moyes is interested in signing the 23-year-old striker according to insider ExWHUemployee.
Armstrong would be a great addition for West Ham. And his late heroics against Millwall last night will only endear him even further to the Hammers fans, if he ever does end up making the move to the London Stadium.
The former Newcastle ace is energetic, dynamic and possesses explosive pace – qualities recently outlined by his manager Tony Mowbray, as quoted by the Evening Express:

“His explosive pace at the top end of the pitch allows you to play both ways, to not be overly concerned if you’re pinned back around the edge of your box because one pass releases pressure for someone to play the pass that he can hit just leaving it in the space for the speed and dynamic movement of Armstrong – it’s a devastating effect for the team.”
The Blackburn hitman is clearly a very exciting talent. It seems as though we may have to break the bank to prise him away from Blackburn in January, however.
Armstrong is the Championship’s top goalscorer. And he definitely will not come cheap.
Judging by the 23-year-old’s form this season, however, he would be worth every penny for West Ham.
