The agents of Hans Vanaken are doing all they can to convince Club Brugge into allowing their client to join West Ham this summer.
That’s according to a report from football journalist Sasha Tavolieri who claims that Vanaken sees the chance to join the Hammers as his last opportunity to move to the Premier League.
David Moyes is clearly very keen to strengthen his attacking midfield department this summer. The Scot missed out on Jesse Lingard earlier in the window and it seems as though he’s now focused his attention on Vanaken.

The 29-year-old allegedly wants to move to the London Stadium (Het Nieuwsblad). The Belgium international’s agents are trying to make a deal happen too.
Hans Vanken agents trying to push through West Ham move
Football journalist Sasha Tavolieri believes that the 29-year-old’s representatives are doing all they can to convince Club Brugge to sell the attacking midfielder to the Hammers this summer:
Vanaken is a very good player.
The Belgian bagged 16 goals and seven assists in 45 games in the 2020/21 season and racked up 15 goals and 12 assists in 50 outings last term (Transfermarkt).
Standing at 6ft 5in tall, Vanaken is a real unit and has the kind of physicality needed to succeed in the Premier League. He’s won five league titles with Club Brugge as well.
There is one problem as far as we’re concerned though. The Club Brugge midfielder will be 30 later this month. That obviously doesn’t correlate with the Red Bull Model that David Moyes supposedly wants to implement at the London Stadium.

Moving to the Premier League from the Belgian league and succeeding is a tough ask for anybody. Let alone someone who is touching 30.
We think that there are better options out there for Moyes to explore this summer.
If Hans Vanaken is available for around £10million, he wouldn’t be the worst signing in the world for West Ham. However, 90 Min claim that Club Brugge want closer to €20 million (£16.8 million) for the 29-year-old.
We just think that the Hammers could do a lot better than signing the Belgian this summer.
