West Ham United have been heavily linked with a move for Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
Widespread speculation has linked the Bosnian forward with the Hammers since December (The Sun).
Dzeko would be reunited with his old boss Manuel Pellegrini if he were to join the East Londoners.
His goals helped Pellegrini set a new Premier League scoring record at the time as they lifted the title together at Manchester City.

Dzeko Edin for East London?
A recent report from Sky Sports claimed Roma were trying to initiate a deal with West Ham to get the 33-year-old’s £165,000 per week wages off their books.
Some West Ham fans feel a move for the ageing and expensive hitman would be a mistake.
Indeed many feel it smacks of the kind of deal the Hammers became known for in the past. Giving one last big money move to players past their best became a club trademark, usually with dour results.
Those supporters were encouraged when Dzeko was linked with a move to Turkey recently.

‘I don’t know where these reports are coming from’
But there is still a chance a West Ham move may yet happen after his agent dismissed the latest rumours.
Not so according to Irfan Redzepagic.
“I have heard these reports as well from Turkey and I don’t know where they are coming from,” the agent told SempreInter.com, as also reported by Football Italia.
“He is on holiday right now and not in Istanbul.”

Ageing star sill knows where the goal is
Despite being consigned to the bench for much of the season, Dzeko still managed 14 goals for Roma last season. That was more than West Ham’s top scorer Marko Arnautovic who managed 11.
Dzeko has one year left to run on his current contract. And he stands to make nearly £9million in wages if he sees that through.
Back in January Pellegrini refused to entertain the idea.
“I know him very well but we are not thinking about him at the moment,” Pellegrini said at the time (Football London).
