Arsenal could be set to rock West Ham United this summer, by hurting us once again in the transfer market.
Declan Rice left West Ham to join Arsenal in a £105 million deal in the summer of 2023.
Despite the fact that the Hammers got such a large fee for Rice, we have never been the same team since without his power and athleticism in the middle of the park.
The 26-year-old has gone from strength-to-strength at the Emirates under Mikel Arteta, whilst the Hammers have toiled without the midfielder.
Obviously the Gunners are a far more attractive prospect than us right now, due to the fact they have Champions League football on offer, and are involved in perennial title races.

So that means that when we both move into position to sign a player, the north London outfit have a huge advantage over us.
And Arsenal could be set to hit West Ham where it hurts once again this summer.
Arsenal could hurt West Ham with move for Youssef En-Nesyri
According to a report from Turkish publication Sabah (print edition February 18th, page 17), Arsenal have entered the race to sign Fenerbahce hitman Youssef En-Nesyri.
The 27-year-old striker has been a long-term transfer target for the Hammers.
However, we missed out on him in the end after he joined Fenerbahce from Sevilla last summer.
En-Nesyri has been in sensational form for Jose Mourinho’s side this season, with a hugely impressive 23 goals and four assists in 35 games (Transfermarkt).
He also has 12 goals in his last eight Super Lig games for Fenerbahce.
It has been claimed that Fenerbahce could cash in on the former Sevilla hitman for €40 million (£33 million), according to Barlaman Today – that’s double what they paid for him just seven months ago.

Losing out on the Morocco international would be a big blow for the Hammers because he would be absolutely perfect for Potter’s system at the London Stadium.
Youssef En-Nesyri ideal for West Ham
The Moroccan is perfect in every way for this West Ham team.
He constantly occupies defenders, and is always willing to run the channels.
The 27-year-old is a real handful in the air, and his hold-up play is truly exceptional.
Let’s not forget, Youssef En-Nesyri is an unbelievably good finisher as well, with 116 goals in 325 career games to his name, and he would take West Ham to another level in my opinion.
However, Arsenal moving into position to sign him with be the death knell for the Hammers.
After the gut punch of losing Declan Rice to our London rivals in 2023, the Gunners could be set to hurt us yet again this summer.
