West Ham United are now prioritising a move for £20 million-rated Slavia Prague hitman Abdallah Sima according to a report from the Mirror (Friday January 8th, Page 61).
In other news…Report: £4.5m striker is ‘very high’ on West Ham boss David Moyes’s transfer wish-list
The Hammers sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax for £20 million a couple of days ago.
And now signing a new striker will be of paramount importance for David Moyes.
But who will the Scot bring to the London Stadium?
The Mirror (Friday January 8th, Page 61) reckons West Ham have a three man short-list – Slavia Prague ace Abdallah Sima, Stade Reims striker Boulaye Dia and Bournemouth hitman Josh King.
It is suggested that Sima, 19, is the Hammers’ number one target, however.
West Ham have had great success in the past when signing players from Slavia Prague.
David Moyes has brought Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal to the London Stadium from the Czech giants over the past 12 months.
The Czech Republic international duo have already established themselves as fan favourites in east London.
Abdallah Sima the next Czech import at West Ham?
The 19-year-old has scored 14 goals in 20 games this term (Transfermarkt). The teenager is still very raw and has to work on his technique. His talent and potential is undeniable, however.
The Senegalese youngster has the potential to go and become one of the world’s best.
And if David Moyes can pick him up for just £20 million this month, it seems like an absolute no-brainer for the West Ham boss.
