West Ham have already made some great signings this summer, including Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals for close to £70 million.
The Hammers have also brought in Goncalo Cardoso and backup goalkeepers David Martin and Roberto.
Manuel Pellegrini still wants to get at least one more name through the door, however.
So here’s our 9am roundup…
Let’s start with Albian Ajeti.
The Daily Mail claims that West Ham are closing in on the £8 million capture of the Swiss ace.
The Mail also go on to claim that Pellegrini wants at least two more new signings on top of the acquisition of Ajeti.
Meanwhile, ExWHUemployee has claimed that it is highly unlikely that the Hammers will make a move for Stuttgart midfielder Santiago Ascacibar, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night.
He did claim that if his price drops, however, the east London club will be open to doing a deal.
ExWHUemployee also suggested that West Ham are still looking to sign a homegrown central midfielder before this evening’s deadline.
In truth, however, West Ham fans will most probably be more than happy with the business that has already been done by Pellegrini.
