Since beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at their new stadium, West Ham fans have been in a jovial mood all week. And several new players have been linked this week. Here are the latest transfer rumours as of Friday 3rd March 2019.

Players linked with West Ham

Two defenders are on West Ham’s wishlist. Alaves centre-back Guillermo Maripan and Olympiakos left-back Leonardo Koutris are on West Ham’s radar (Football.London).

West Ham have also been linked with two strikers. Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck will be a target if he becomes a free agent while Clermont Foot’s Florian Aye is another option (both The Mirror).

Ex-Chelsea flop Juan Cuadrado would prefer to stay at Juventus rather than move to West Ham or Watford (Sky Sports News).

 

Central midfielder Irfan Can Kahveci, who plays for table-topping Turkish side Basaksehir, is a summer target for the Hammers (Sport Witness).

There is one new exit rumour this week. FC Augsburg are reportedly close to making Reece Oxford‘s loan deal permanent for £8m (Sky Sports News).

Injury news

West Ham have been handed a triple boost ahead of the Southampton clash. Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed (on whufc.com) that Manuel Lanzini, Samir Nasri and Aaron Cresswell are in contention for this game.
