For yet another day, the Marko Arnautovic saga rumbles on. West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini seemed to confirm Arnautovic’s desire to leave in his pre-match press conference.

The Chilean said (via The London Evening Standard): “When you have such a high offer, everyone wants to leave but he has a contract here and we know what will happen about it in the coming days.”

Pellegrini added that the Austrian continues to train with his squad and could face Bournemouth this weekend.

West Ham could swoop for Edin Dzeko as Arnautovic’s replacement, according to The Daily Star. The 32-year-old is currently at Roma but they are willing to let him go.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international knows Pellegrini from their time together at Manchester City and they won the Premier League in 2013/14.

According to Gazetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, Edimilson Fernandes is set to return to West Ham at the end of the season.

The Switzerland international is at Fiorentina on a loan-to-buy agreement but the Italian club have signed another midfielder already.

As a result, it looks like the 22-year-old, who has played 48 games for the Hammers, could be back at West Ham in the summer.
